Pambazuka News focuses on “The food crisis and the destruction of African agriculture”

Pambazuka News describes itself as “the authoritative electronic weekly newsletter and platform for social justice in Africa.” It provides commentary and analysis on politics and current affairs, development, human rights, refugees, gender issues, and culture in Africa. The current issue (Issue 392) focuses on African agriculture. Features include an analytical opinion piece on the World Trade Organization’s role in the current food crisis, a collection of first-hand accounts of how the food crisis is affecting people around the world, and a call for an African strategy for coping with the crisis.
