Give the gift that makes a difference
You have an amazing opportunity to make a difference in Africa through this donation and you can give this as a gift.
How your donation can make a difference
COVID has hugely impacted African communities
COVID-19 has had a huge impact on African communities. With the closure of markets, farmers have had nowhere to sell their crops and therefore no money to buy nutritious food.
Your donation will help us air lifesaving radio programs that provide critical information - both about better farming and about crucial COVID safety tips to help African farmers make it through this difficult time.
It's amazing how something as small as a radio can make all the difference for an entire community.
Your donation can provide:
Resources: We're adapting our current radio project programming in Africa, where appropriate, to meet the needs of communities affected by COVID-19 and to prevent further spread of the virus.
Connections: We're actively developing, sharing and distributing good information to broadcasters so they are equipped and can stay safe while getting information to their listeners about how to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Programs: We've set up or are reinforcing existing spaces, such as WhatsApp groups, to give radio broadcasters a place to learn from each other about best practices in COVID-19 radio programming.

Radio is the world’s most popular mass medium, reaching billions of people each year, even in the most remote villages of Africa.
Radio is accessible to everyone — men and women, young and old — whether or not they can read or write, no matter where they are.
Radio is a cost-effective way to share important information with large audiences. It's affordable for listeners and broadcasters.
