Ghana country brochure

In Ghana, we have worked with more radio stations than in any other country, operating in multiple
languages and regions. As a registered international organization, we have led projects on a variety of
topics, including climate change, innovative e-extension methods and reducing micronutrient
deficiencies using nutrient-rich crops. We’ve conducted research here on the economic viability of
agricultural radio programs, leading to the piloting of our “Green Leaf” sustainable radio program
approach. Notably, our close relationship with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture has been critical to
the success of many of these projects.
