Nigeria is one of the newest countries to host a Farm Radio International project. Currently based in
Abuja, with offices in Kano and Jos, we’re working with dynamic local stations to reach diverse
audiences with programming on food waste, climate change and better agriculture. We’ve seen no limit
to the response from audiences, as these programs are also some of our most interactive ever, with
thousands of rural Africans responding to interactive radio programming using our mobile phone
technology. We currently work in nine Nigerian states: Kano, Kaduna, Plateau, Benue, Nasarawa, Oyo,
Ogun and Cross River.
