This edition of Tuning In looks at the impact of climate change in the lives of small scale farmers across sub-Saharan Africa — and how radio is helping. We check in with our country head of programs in Tanzania about a new project designed to get climate information — and what to do about it — to 250,000 farmers. We also hear from America Asrassi, a single mother of five who has learned about conservation agriculture over the radio, and since seen her production increase trifold. We’re inspired by Georgina Brunette, Farm Radio’s oldest known donor and also Edith and Ian, two of Farm Radio’s donors who hosted a potluck in our name in St. Catherines, Ontario.
